On 1st March 2016, Marwan Muhammad is appointed as the new Executive Director of the Collective against Islamophobia in France.
From 2010 to 2014, Marwan was the organization’s spokesperson, before joining the OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institution and Human Rights, from 2014 to 2016. As CCIF’s director, Marwan will be in charge of coordinating and consolidating the organisation’s operations, while developing CCIF’s visibility and outreach, at the national and international level.
A statistician by training, Marwan Muhammad has developed, within civil society and subsequently in his diplomatic duty with the OSCE, a strong experience in issues related to anti-terrorism, as well as applied statistics, in relation to racism, anti-semitism and islamophobia, by assisting States and civil society organizations in their reporting on hate crime.
CCIF continues to reinforce its capacity, in all fields related to the protection and promotion of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
